milkyderp asked: how do u edit ur decorake letters?

Hello! ^^

To ‘edit’ the letters you would need to open them in a paint program like Photoshop, Gimp, PaintshopPro, etc. To keep them animated you need to open them in a program that allows for animation. Older versions of photoshop have Imageready to open and edit animated GIFS in. Newer versions of photoshop have animation capabilities built right in. I don’t use GIMP but i’m pretty sure it has animation capabilities…and I haven’t used PSP in many years now but I know it at least used to as well.

Photoshop/Imageready and PSP are not free programs, but GIMP is and there are other free animation programs to use as well.

thank you very much! ^^I’ve thought about making tutorials on pixelling from time to time, but it’s a hard subject matter to create one on and not have people simply copy pixel for pixel what your example in the tutorial is.
I’d rather pass on how to do things for yourself (not you specifically, just in general)than how to copy my work :3There are techniques I use to accomplish certain things in my pixel art that I could tell people to do, but they may not necessarily understand the ‘why’s of these things without some sort of comparison. Without understanding the ‘why’ of something..it’s hard to reproduce effectively.I’ve always found it easier (and enjoyable actually) to give critique and suggestions along with edits as an example on already completed..or WIP pieces than to instruct someone on where to actually start. If someone makes an edit on something already being worked on it can make it easier for the artist to compare differences between their original and the changes made in the edit.I am always happy to provide in depth critique on anyone’s Pixel work if they ask for suggestions/help :)

Antivirus?

what virus program do you use?

is it free?

Pixel Blogs?

So I’m a bit confused.

Why would you run a pixel blog and…

state that you don’t own the pixels…

and to msg you if any pixels are yours…

but then ignore me?

What is the point of saying to msg you?

I’m hoping this person will respond soon and not make me ask them a third time to give me credit when redistributing my work.

Practice with Freehand work. I usually stick to the pen tool when creating my vector/vexels but here I decided to use the Paintbrush in Illustrator instead :).
